Sapta Yoga Ashram & Yogic Hospital

Out in Village Kotalghosha, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Sapta Yoga Ashram & Yogic Hospital is tucked away here in the Birbhum district, specifically near the Kirnahar post office. It’s a quiet spot for a hospital, mostly surrounded by the sounds of the village and the birds. We do a mix of things here, focusing on yoga and health in a way that fits the Bolpur area. People come from around Birbhum when they want to stay at the ashram or if they need some medical attention that follows yogic ways. The roads around Kirnahar can be dusty, but once you get to the village, it’s quite peaceful. We wake up early for morning sessions and stay busy through the afternoon with various treatments. The building isn't anything like those tall glass hospitals in Kolkata. It’s practical and fits into the local surroundings. We have space for people to stay and practice their movements. Living in Kotalghosha means we are part of the local community. We know the seasons well here. The hospital part of the ashram handles the physical needs, while the yoga side keeps everyone moving. It’s just what we do every day in this part of Bolpur. We don’t have fancy marketing teams or anything. Just us here in the village, keeping the gates open for whoever needs to visit the ashram or the hospital for their health.
