S & L is run by Sibaram Saha, and we are located out in Pandit Pur village, which is near Dubrajpur in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. It’s a quiet place compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. Our address is basically just a spot in the village where everyone knows each other. Being in a rural area means we have to be quite practical about how we do things. We don't have high-speed everything or fancy coffee machines, but we do have a lot of local knowledge and we have been part of this community for a long time. The post office is right there in Pandit Pur, so getting mail is easy enough, even if the roads get a bit muddy during the monsoon season. We handle various bits of business that come our way, mostly helping out people in the surrounding via and P.S. areas. It’s a family-style environment where we take our time to get things right. Mr. Saha is usually around if someone needs to talk or if a problem needs solving. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be bigger than we are. We are just a local business trying to make a living in Birbhum. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors and making sure our records are up to date in the office. It’s honest work in a place we call home and we plan to stay here for a long time.
