Parirai Construction Llp operates out of Schoolbagan in Bolpur, which is in the Birbhum district. We are set up at the home of Bimalashis Bhattacharjee. Being in Bolpur gives us a different perspective than if we were in a huge city. It’s a more personal way of doing business. We handle a variety of construction jobs for people in the Birbhum area. Most of the time, we are out in the field looking at sites or meeting with the workers. Our setup is quite simple because we don't feel the need for a fancy office with leather chairs. We’d rather be out where the actual work is happening. Construction around here involves a lot of coordination with local labor and making sure we get the right materials delivered to sometimes hard-to-reach places. We know the area well and understand the local climate, which really matters when you're building something that needs to last. We don’t do much in the way of advertising; usually, someone just sees a house we worked on and asks who did it. We try to keep our communication clear and avoid using a lot of technical jargon that doesn't help anyone. It’s just about getting the walls up and the roof on correctly. We’ve been doing this for a while and plan to keep going as long as there is work to be done in Bolpur.
