Om Sai Food Product

If you walk down towards the Durga Temple in Moholla Rogori Para, you’ll find us working at Om Sai Food Product. We are tucked away in a spot that feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. The temple is a good landmark because everyone knows it, and we can usually hear the bells from where we sit. Our work is pretty simple and involves a lot of hands-on preparation. The building is older, and the rooms aren't very big, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We spend our mornings getting things ready and our afternoons finishing up the packing. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except during festival times when the whole street gets crowded with people. We like being in Rogori Para because it’s where we feel at home. There isn't any fancy machinery here; we do things the way they’ve been done for a long time. Sometimes the rain makes the narrow paths a bit muddy, but we just put on our boots and keep going. We don’t talk much about what we do, we just do it. It’s about being consistent and showing up every day to handle the food products. The space is small, but it’s ours, and we know every corner of it by heart now. It feels right to be near the temple and part of this specific community.
