Mohammadpur India Foundation

You can find us over at Mohammadpur, specifically near Maksuda. Mohammadpur India Foundation is run from the home of Mohd Heera, who is the son of Zainul Huque. It is a family-oriented spot in a sense, because it is tucked away in a residential area. We do not have a fancy storefront or a big lobby. Usually, there is some laundry hanging nearby or kids playing in the street. That is the kind of place this is. We deal with various foundation tasks right from the living area. It can get a bit noisy when the market is busy, but we are used to it by now. We started this because we wanted to have a base in Mohammadpur that felt accessible. We do not use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. If someone has a question, we just answer it straight. We have some basic equipment and a lot of notebooks where we track everything. It is not high-tech, but it is reliable. Some people think you need a big building to be a real foundation, but we disagree. We think being right here in the middle of the community is better. It keeps us grounded. We know the local shopkeepers and the families on the block. It is just a regular life here, and our work is a part of that.
