Mnj Rice Mills Private Limited

Birbhum is a quiet place mostly, and we have been here at 5A Dubrajpur for a good while now. It’s a rice mill, so you know how it is. It gets really loud and there is grain dust everywhere when the trucks come in to unload. My family and a few neighbors work here every day. We mostly just focus on getting the rice cleaned and packed up for the market. The building isn't anything fancy to look at. It is just a functional space where we do the work. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains a lot here in West Bengal. People around this part of Dubrajpur know where we are located. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. We just wake up, check the machines, and start the day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to sit around and wait it out. That is just how it goes for us. We have seen the town change quite a bit over the years, but the mill stays pretty much the same. It is a lot of manual labor, hauling heavy bags and making sure everything looks okay. Nothing special about it, just a regular local business. We eat our lunch together in the small room near the main gate. If you come by, you will probably see me or one of the guys covered in dust. It is honest work. We try to keep the machines running smooth. We are just a small outfit here in the middle of Birbhum.
