Down here in Ward No-8 of Pach Pahar, you’ll find our place, Maa Annapurna. We are situated right near the Indraprastha Hotel, which makes it easy for folks to find us even if they aren't from around here. It’s a busy little area. We deal with food supplies mostly, and the days usually start pretty early before the sun is even fully up. The shelves are always being rearranged because stuff comes in and goes out so fast. Sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered when a big delivery arrives, but we manage to clear it by evening. It isn't a huge operation with hundreds of employees. Just a few of us making sure everything is where it needs to be. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up and more traffic on the roads. Despite the changes, we’ve stayed right here. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done with notebooks and pens. It works for us. If you drop by, you might see us drinking tea or chatting with someone from down the street. We like the local feel of the place. It’s not a corporate chain, just a regular spot in Pach Pahar. We try to keep the door open even when it’s raining hard outside. It gets a bit damp, but that’s just how things are during the monsoon.
