Laxminarayan Rice Mill

If you go to Galsi in the Dist, you will find Laxminarayan Rice Mill. We have been working out of this location for a long time. The mill is a busy place, especially after the rains when the crops are ready. We have several machines that process the rice, and they require constant attention. It’s a loud environment, and you have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the hum of the motors. Our floors are always covered in grain, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a big marketing department or a polished image. We are just a group of people who know how to run a mill. Most of our customers are locals from around Galsi who have been coming to us for years. We handle the bags ourselves and make sure everything is stacked properly in the warehouse. The building is old and the roof leaks a little bit when the storms are heavy, but we’ve patched it up as best as we can. We start our work before the sun comes up and usually finish when it’s getting dark. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our hands are usually calloused from handling the sacks. We don't make any big promises; we just do the milling as it needs to be done. It’s an honest way to make a living in Galsi, and we are content with that.
