Jan Sewa Ruhani Mission Foundation

Jan Sewa Ruhani Mission Foundation is based out of Mahmudpur. We’re at 8/12, right near Guru Kirpya Hospital. Most people know us because we’re so close to the big Reliance Tower. It’s a landmark everyone uses for directions. The area is always buzzing with people going to the hospital or the shops nearby. Our space isn't very large. It’s just a few rooms where we keep things organized. We started this foundation because we wanted to be useful to the people living in Mahmudpur(28). We see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through and others have lived here their whole lives. We don't have a polished way of doing things. We just handle whatever comes up. Sometimes we’re busy with paperwork and other times we’re out in the street talking to folks. The noise from the tower construction or the hospital traffic can be a bit much sometimes, but we’re used to it now. It’s a practical place to be. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us through word of mouth or because they see our door near the hospital. We keep it simple and focus on what’s right in front of us. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the tower and look for the hospital block. We’re right there in the mix, usually with a lot of work on our desks and a cup of tea nearby.
