G. L. Engineering

G. L. Engineering is located in Pirtala, right near the Siuri Police Station. Being close to the station is a good landmark because everyone in Siuri knows where that is. We have a workshop where we handle a lot of different engineering jobs. It’s a bit loud because of the grinding and the welding, but that’s how a shop should sound. My father started this, and we’ve just kept it going. We don’t have a big website or a social media person. Usually, someone just stops their bike outside and asks if we can fix a part or make something new for their machine. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there is a heavy smell of oil, which I’ve gotten used to over the years. We stay open pretty late sometimes if there’s a big job to finish. It’s just a local place in Pirtala. We don't have fancy titles or uniforms. We just wear what works for getting dirty. If you walk past the Siuri Police Station and keep going toward the post office area, you’ll find us. It’s a small operation, but we take care of the people who come to us. We just like to get things fixed properly the first time so we don’t have to do it twice. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
