Chhajer Food Products Llp

Out here in Dist- Birbhum, Chhajer Food Products Llp is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a food business, so there is always something needing attention, whether it's checking the latest batch or just cleaning up. We don't have a big corporate office in some city. Instead, we work right where the action is. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy enough to keep everyone on their toes. Dealing with food means you can’t really cut corners, so we just focus on the basics. Some of the staff have been with us since the start and they know the routines better than anyone. It’s not always easy work, especially during the harvest seasons or when the transport trucks are late getting to us in Birbhum. We mostly talk about what needs to happen today rather than making huge plans for next year. It’s a practical way to live. When people ask what we do, we just tell them we make food products and leave it at that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’d rather spend the time getting the orders out. It feels like a real community effort most of the time. We aren't looking for awards or anything. We just want to make sure the work is solid and that the people who buy from us are satisfied with what they get. Some days are definitely longer than others, but that is just part of the job.
