Ark Spices

Ark Spices is located at House No - B-22/2 inside the Sonartari Housing Complex in Birbhum. We’re quite close to the Prantik Railway Station, which is handy for people trying to find us. It’s not a typical factory setting; it’s more of a home-based operation that grew a little bit bigger over time. We use some of the rooms here for storage and for the small machines we use to grind and pack. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of raw materials coming in. My family and a few helpers from the housing complex do most of the work. We started this because we knew a lot about spices and wanted something to do locally. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us. Sometimes the smell of the spices gets quite strong in the house, but we don’t mind it much. Living and working in Birbhum is quiet compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We don't spend money on advertising or anything fancy. People from the station or the neighborhood just stop by when they need something. We keep our prices fair and our work steady. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy and we like the independence it gives us. Every day is a little different depending on what spices are in season. It's just honest work.
