ANUTTAMA TEXTILES LLP

We are out in Berugram village, which is part of the Sian post office area in Birbhum. It is quite a distance from the big city life of Kolkata, but that is how we like it. Anuttama Textiles LLP is our name and we wanted to do something with fabric right here in our own local community. Life moves a little slower in Birbhum than it does in other places, but we still have plenty of work to keep our hands full every day. Our building is simple and we do not spend much time worrying about how the walls look or if the sign is perfectly straight. We are more focused on the textile work itself. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back, chatting about the weather or the local crops. It is a very local way of doing things. Being in a village means you know your neighbors and they know what you are doing. We do not have a lot of fancy offices. It is mostly just us, some machines, and piles of thread and cloth. The 731204 pin code is our home and we have been here long enough that the postman does not even have to look at the address on the envelopes anymore. We just do our work, send out what needs to go out, and try to make sure everything is handled properly without making a big fuss about it.
