Alica Projects Private Limited

Alica Projects Private Limited is based out of the Khan Complex on Madrasah Road in Suri. We are up on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs past the other shops to find us. It’s a busy part of Birbhum, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to the market or the offices nearby. The office itself is pretty basic, just a few rooms with enough light to see what we are doing. We’ve got some old wooden furniture that’s been around as long as the company has, and it does the job just fine. Suri can get incredibly hot during the summer months, so we spend a lot of time sitting right under the ceiling fans trying to stay cool while we go through the project files. There is always someone coming in with a delivery or a message, so the door is usually opening and closing all day long. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. It is not a high-tech environment by any means, but we have our computers and our ledgers, and that is really all we need to stay on top of things. Being in Sonatorepara means we are right in the middle of everything, which makes it easier to handle the logistics of what we do without traveling too far. The local post office and station are just a short walk away if the weather is nice.
