Mukesh Soni & Co.

We are located out in Kanchanbari, which is under the Fulbari post office in the Jalpaiguri district. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town, but we like it here. Mukesh Soni & Co. is a small-scale operation that we’ve been running for quite some time now. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to local trading and supplying goods. It’s mostly just family members and a few neighbors working together. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just try to be helpful and honest with the people who come to see us. The office is a simple room with a couple of chairs and a ceiling fan that works most of the time. In Jalpaiguri, you have to be ready for the rain, so we spend a lot of our time making sure everything is covered and dry. We don't have a website or any social media pages. Most of our news comes from the people who stop by for a chat. We know most of our customers by their first names. Sometimes business is slow, and sometimes it’s busy, but we don't worry too much about it. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a simple way to live and work, and it suits us just fine. We’ve been part of this community for years and plan to stay here as long as we can.
