Bio-Sols India Pvt.Ltd.

Bio-Sols India Pvt.Ltd. is based out of House-42 in Bain, which is near Bilsi in the Budaun district. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are just a small group of people working from a converted house. We deal with agricultural solutions, mostly helping farmers with their soil and crops. The office is basically a few desks and a lot of samples sitting on shelves. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We spend most of our time out in the fields around Budaun anyway. The local roads are okay, but reaching some of the far-off farms takes ages. We don't have a big corporate lifestyle here. We eat lunch together and talk about the weather or the local markets. I started this because I saw how much help the local guys needed with their land. It’s not always easy to explain the science, so we just show them what works. Sometimes our experiments don't go as planned, and we have to start over. That's just how it is. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy flyers. Most of our work comes from one farmer telling another about us. It's a slow way to grow, but it feels more honest. We just keep doing our thing here in Bain, one day at a time.
