Prime Shuttles

Prime Shuttles is over at the G.I.D.C. Estate, specifically at unit 4-R. It’s a pretty standard industrial shed. We deal with shuttles and related parts for machinery. The estate is a huge maze of similar-looking buildings, so you have to look for our number on the gate. We’ve been here for several years now. The floor is concrete and always has some oil spots on it. We don't have a big sign out front, just the unit number. The work we do is repetitive but important for the factories that use our parts. We have a small crew. We aren't trying to expand into some massive empire; we just like running a steady operation. Most mornings start with a quick check of the machines and a bit of cleaning. We don't do much in terms of fancy presentations. If a customer needs something, they usually just call us up or walk into the shop. The air in the estate can get pretty heavy in the summer, so we keep the big shutters open most of the day. It’s noisy with all the other units working around us, but you get used to the rhythm of the place. We keep our tools organized in old wooden chests. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We don't have any formal mission statement written on the wall. We just show up and do the work. It’s a quiet life, but it suits us just fine.
