M/S Nayan Sar & Co.

Our business, M/S Nayan Sar & Co., is located in Bilchaulda village. It’s quite a way out in the Purba Mindnapur district, near Egra. Being in a rural spot means we do a bit of everything. We handle local supplies and work with the people in Chorpalia too. It’s not a fancy office, just a sturdy building where we keep our records and stock. Most of our work involves moving goods between the town and the village. The roads out here can be a real pain during the monsoon season. We often have to wait for the mud to dry before we can get anything moving. I spend a lot of time on my old motorbike, checking on things. It’s a family-run thing, so we all pitch in. My nephew helps with the accounts because my handwriting is terrible. We don’t use any big marketing tricks. People know us because we’ve been here for years. If someone needs something, they just come to the house or the warehouse. We deal with the local farmers and small shopkeepers mostly. It’s a tight-knit community where everyone knows your business anyway. We try to be fair and just get the work done. The days are long, starting before the sun is up. It’s a quiet life, but there’s always something to do in Bilchaulda.
