Vedanta

We are located inside the NTPC Township in Korba. Specifically, we are at Qtr. No.-C955 in Krishna Vihar, Jamnipali. My name is Amber Chandrakar, and this is where we run Vedanta from. It’s a residential quarter, so it feels more like a home than a regular office. Living and working in the township means we are surrounded by people who work at the power plant. It’s a tight-knit community. We don’t have a big storefront or a lobby. You just come to the door and we talk right there or in the small front room. Most of our work is done on a laptop or over the phone. Since we are in the 495450 area, we deal with a lot of local stuff related to the township and the families living here. It’s quiet during the day when everyone is at the plant. We have our own way of doing things. It’s not about having the latest tech or a fancy setup. It’s just about being available for the people who need our help. Sometimes the power cuts happen, or the water schedule changes, and we just work around it like everyone else in Korba. It’s a simple life. We don’t have employees in uniforms. It’s just us handling the business from our living space. We appreciate the people who stop by and keep us going. We usually finish up when the sun goes down and the township lights come on.
