You can find V S Construction Co tucked away behind the old power house in Hemu Nagar, Bilaspur. We’re located at 516/38 and it's a place where we’ve been for quite some time. The business is run by the son of Shri Sharad Kumar. It’s very much a local, family-oriented setup. Our office isn't anything to brag about. It's mostly just a place where we store our tools and keep our records. Since we're in the construction business, things can get pretty messy around here. There is usually some sand or cement dust on the floor no matter how much we sweep. We spend our days coordinating with workers and checking on different job sites around Bilaspur. It’s not an easy job; the sun is hot and there are always problems that need solving. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just take the jobs as they come and try to get the walls built straight. Sometimes we run into delays because of the weather or because a truck broke down, but that’s just part of the life. We know most of the people in Hemu Nagar and they know us. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We’re just happy to be working and providing for our families. It’s practical, everyday work that doesn't need a lot of explanation or big words to describe it.
