T.V.S. Chandra Motors

Our business is set up in Belha Tehsil, right at the Post in Bilaspur. We are located near the railway crossing, which is a spot everyone in the district knows because you usually have to wait there for the trains to pass. T.V.S. Chandra Motors is where we spend our days. It is a basic setup for bikes and scooters. We have a small shed for repairs and a bit of space out front where we keep the newer models. The dust from the road and the trains coming by means we are always wiping down the bikes to keep them looking okay. We are not a high-end boutique. It is just a place where locals come to get their transport fixed or buy a new scooter for work. The guys working here are mostly from the nearby villages. We do not use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. If a bike is going to be ready by Tuesday, we just tell you Tuesday. Sometimes the railway gate stays closed for a long time, so we just sit and chat with the customers while they wait. It is a slow-paced life compared to the big cities, but we prefer it that way. We are just a part of the local community here in Bilaspur, doing our bit to keep everyone moving. It is a simple business run by people who live right here.
