Thakur General Store

My name is Thakur and I run this general store in Vpo Amroh. We are right in Ward-5. The shop is very easy to find because it is near the Government School. I open up early every morning before the kids start arriving for their classes. You see a lot of activity here when the school bell rings. It gets quite noisy but I like it. People in Amroh know us for a long time now. We have all the basic things like flour, sugar, and small snacks for the children. I spend most of my day sitting here on the wooden stool. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to talk about the weather or what is happening in Tehsil Bhoranj. It is not a very big shop but it has what people need. I try to keep everything tidy but sometimes boxes get stacked up in the corners. The roof gets a bit hot in the summer months. My family helps me out when I have to go to the market to bring more stock. We don't have any fancy signs or lights. It is just a simple place where you can get your daily groceries without much fuss. If you are walking past the school, you will see me sitting here. Most days are the same but that is okay for a small village life like ours. We just keep going.
