We have got this little spot located at C-18 Yadunandan Nagar where we spend our time fixing all sorts of electronics and gadgets. It is usually a bit of a mess with cables, screens, and tiny parts scattered across the workbenches. People bring in their broken phones or laptops that will not turn on anymore, and we see what we can do to help them out. This is not a fancy service center with a glass front and people in matching uniforms. We are just a couple of guys who genuinely like taking things apart to see how they actually work. Sometimes we can fix a problem in ten minutes, and other times it takes a week because we are waiting for a specific part to arrive in the mail from somewhere else. We have been in Yadunandan Nagar for quite a while now, and most of the people living nearby know who we are. The lighting is not exactly the best in the back room, but that is where all the soldering and the real work happens. We do not go around promising any miracles, but we try to be very straight with people if their device is just too far gone to bother with. It is always better to be honest than to waste someone’s hard-earned money. We have a small TV in the corner that is usually on the news, and we drink way too much chai during the day.
