Sk Sharma Constructions Private Limited is run from the village of Dhangpo Kangta Failog. We are located at Sharwan Kumar’s place, which is in the Tehsil Dadahu area. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a big corporate building or a fleet of fancy cars. We mostly just have our tools, our experience, and the will to get the job done. Working in the Dadahu region is different from being in a big city. You have to know the people and you have to know how the land behaves. Most of our work is building houses or helping with small local projects. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don’t sit behind desks much. Usually, we are out at a site by seven in the morning. Being a construction outfit in a village means you are always part of the community. If someone has a problem with a wall or needs a new shed, they just come find us. It’s a simple way of doing business, based on a handshake and doing what you said you would do. We deal with the usual stuff like rain delays and getting materials up the narrow roads. It isn't always pretty, and we are usually tired by sunset, but it’s a living. We’re just a bunch of guys from the village working hard to make sure everything we build stands up straight and stays that way.
