Shyam Care Hospital

This hospital is right in the heart of Nehru Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so we have houses and small shops all around us. The building isn't very tall, just a few floors high. We have a black gate in front that we close at night for safety. During the day, it stays wide open for everyone. There’s a small garden out front but it’s mostly just some dry grass and a few bushes that need trimming. Inside, the lobby has a big desk where someone is usually sitting. We have rows of chairs for people who are waiting for their turn to be seen. The tiles on the floor are a bit chipped in places from moving heavy equipment around over the years. We have several rooms for patients and a small area in the back for emergencies. It gets a bit chaotic on Monday mornings when everyone seems to show up at the same time. The nurses are always rushing around with their clipboards and medicine trays. We don’t have a lot of high-tech stuff on display, just the things we need to do the job properly. We get our supplies delivered every Tuesday by a guy in a small truck. Nehru Nagar is a quiet place usually, but the hospital stays active 24 hours a day. We take turns sleeping in a small room in the back when we have the night shift. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do.
