We've been operating here on Ratanpur Road for a while now. It gets pretty dusty and loud when the machines are running, but that's just how the rice business goes. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot over Mohtarai. We handle a lot of grain coming in from the local fields. The trucks line up outside and it gets a bit crowded on the road sometimes. It’s a lot of work making sure the husking is done right and the bags are stacked properly in the back. My family has been around this area for years, so we know most of the people bringing their crops in. It’s not fancy work, just honest labor. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which gives us a chance to sit and have some tea. The shed is big and keeps most of the rain off during the monsoon, though the roof leaks a tiny bit near the far corner. We try to keep things moving so the farmers don't have to wait too long. It’s just us here, working through the piles of paddy day after day. You can find us easily enough if you just follow the road out of town. The building is old but it works for what we need. We don't spend much on paint or signs because the locals already know where to find us. We just focus on the grain and the machines.
