Shri Gurunanak Dev Engineering Works

Shri Gurunanak Dev Engineering Works is found on Gurudwara Road in Padoli. We are situated near the Hyundai Car Showroom, which makes it easier for people to explain where we are located. Padoli is a decent area, though it can get a bit muddy when it rains. Our workshop is right on the main road, so we see a lot of cars and people passing by all the time. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly involving machinery and repairs. The floor is usually covered in some oil or metal shavings, which is just part of the trade. Heavy equipment takes up most of the space. It can get quite loud inside when we are running the machines. We’ve been on Gurudwara Road for quite a few years now and have built up a bit of a routine. Every morning we start early and work until the sun goes down. There’s a small area where we keep our tools organized, or at least we try to. Because we are near the Hyundai showroom, there’s a lot of automotive activity nearby. We just focus on getting the engineering jobs done right so we can move on to the next one. It’s an honest day’s work for us. We don’t really spend much time on anything other than the tasks at hand in the shop. It’s simple enough for us to manage every day.
