This is the spot in Village Makhturi. Om Engineering & Construction works from here. We are near Mansuri Malhar Road. It's more of a rural setup compared to the city offices. We do a lot of civil work and building stuff. The weather out here affects the schedule a lot. If it rains, the site stops for a while. We have our equipment parked near the road most of the time. It’s a practical business. We don't spend much time on computers unless we really have to for the plans. Most of the time we are out on the dirt or checking on the foundations. Being near the village, we know a lot of the families around here. We started this because there was a need for local builders who actually understand the land in this area. Engineering is part of it, but it's mostly about solid construction that lasts. The road nearby gets busy with trucks and tractors sometimes. We handle small jobs and some bigger ones too. It’s just us and the crew working through the week. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us by coming to the village or hearing about us from a neighbor. The office is just a simple room where we keep the logs and some tools. It’s dusty and there’s always something to fix. We take it one day at a time. The work is hard on the hands but it's what we know best and it keeps us busy.
