Our office for Nova Iron And Steel Ltd.Bilaspur is tucked away behind the Apex Bank near Nehru Chowk. It’s right there by Dr. Ashok Kaushik’s place. If you are in Bilaspur, you probably know the area around the chowk; it's always got something going on. We work with iron and steel products, mostly for local industrial use and construction. It’s a messy business sometimes, dealing with heavy metal and rust, but we like the pace. Chhattisgarh has a lot of this kind of work, so we fit right in. We don’t have a flashy storefront or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace where we manage the orders and talk to the drivers. Our team is small and we’ve mostly known each other for years. We spend the morning going through the inventory and the afternoon usually involves making sure things go out to the right addresses. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and checking specs on different iron pieces. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
