Our place is situated in Phase II of Mangla Chouk here in Bilaspur. If you find Ganga Nagar, we are right across from Saint Pallotti School. You can often hear the kids playing during their lunch break or the bell ringing at the end of the day. The building itself is quite sturdy and has that typical hospital look with the white tiles and the smell of cleaning supplies. We focus mostly on bones and general health issues since we are an orthopaedic centre. The hallways are wide enough for stretchers, and we have a few benches for people waiting to get their X-rays done. Bilaspur gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed most of the time. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a hospital in Chhattisgarh, and you’ll often see one of us hunched over a desk filling out forms. It isn't a flashy place with high-tech monitors in every corner, but we have what is necessary to help people who have had a fall or a sports injury. The staff knows most of the regular patients by name since they come back for follow-ups. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, the waiting room gets crowded and things can feel a bit hectic. It is just the way it goes in a growing area like Ganga Nagar. There is no corporate polish here, just a hospital doing its job.
