L&T-Ecc

Our office is located at the L&T-Ecc site within the NTPC Sipat area in Bilaspur. Working here means you get used to the scale of the power plant very quickly. The office itself is a practical space designed for utility. We have rows of desks for the engineers and supervisors, and there’s always a layer of fine dust on the windows because of the construction nearby. It’s a busy environment where the phone never seems to stop ringing. We deal with everything from logistics to technical drawings right here on the spot. It isn't a corporate setup with a lot of hierarchy or rules about how you sit. We are more focused on getting the daily reports finished and making sure the site workers have what they need. The air conditioning struggles sometimes when the sun is really beating down on the roof. We usually have a lot of visitors from other parts of the project, so there is a constant flow of people in and out. Most of us have been here since the project started, so we know every corner of this place. We don't have time for fancy language or polished presentations. The walk from the parking area to the office is enough to get you sweating in the afternoon heat. We usually have a big stack of hard hats near the entrance for anyone who needs to head out to the units. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We just talk about the work and how to get it done.
