This is the staff colony over in Janjgir Champa, specifically at quarter E-143. It is a quiet spot compared to the actual plant. We are located in the Gopalnagar post area. Living and working here is pretty straightforward. Most of the families in the colony know each other well because we all see each other at the gate or the local shops. The district is 495 663 for anyone trying to find it. It is not a place for visitors really, just where some of the team stays. We have been here for a good while. The trees provide a bit of shade during the afternoon, which helps. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we have what we need. You get used to the routine of the place. The houses are standard staff quarters, nothing too special but they do the job. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that is normal. We just look after the place and keep things tidy. It feels like a small village inside a company area. People walk their dogs or sit outside when the weather is nice. We are just part of the local community here in Chhattisgarh. It is a simple life for the most part. We do not have many outsiders coming through this way. Just us and the people we work with every single day.
