Kidzee

Our school is Kidzee, and we are situated in Genhu Bari, right on Hospital Road here in Ambikapur. Being near the hospital means it’s a busy area with a lot of people moving back and forth all day. The 497001 pincode is where we’ve been operating for the local community. We deal with young children who are just starting out with school. It’s a lively place, often filled with the sound of kids laughing or sometimes crying if they’re having a tough morning. We have different rooms for different activities, like a spot for toys and another for sitting down and doing a bit of learning. It’s not a huge campus, but it’s enough for what we do. We try to keep the place looking bright for the children, though with so many kids running around, it’s a constant job to keep things tidy. Our staff is mostly made up of women from the local area who like working with children. We don't use any fancy educational jargon. We just help the kids learn their ABCs and how to play nicely with each other. Sometimes the traffic on Hospital Road makes it a bit loud, but once you’re inside the building, it feels like its own little world. We focus on the basics of early childhood, making sure they’re fed and looked after until it’s time to go home. It’s a straightforward job and we enjoy being part of the Ambikapur community.
