We are located in the Gulabbagh area, right near where Shiv Mandir Road and Hasda Road meet. It’s a busy part of the town with lots of movement every day. Despite the name sounding a bit formal, we are mostly just a group of people working with rice all day long. The "Modern" part of the name comes from some of the machines we use, but the work itself is still the same old story. We deal with a lot of grain coming in from the surrounding areas. The mill can get quite loud, and there is always something that needs oiling or adjusting. We don't spend much time in a fancy boardroom. Most of our meetings happen standing up near the loading dock while we watch the trucks. The location near the temple road means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to pray or work. We have a rhythm to our days, starting with the first truck and ending when the light fades out. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big order that needs to go out by morning. We don’t really bother with big advertisements. Most people in Gulabbagh know where we are if they need their rice handled. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the grain clean and ready. It's a lot of hard work and dust, but it keeps us busy enough. We are just a local industry doing our part for the area.
