We have our office set up in the Amarjyothi Layout in Hebbal, which is part of the R.T. Nagar post in Bangalore. It’s at the R. Nageshwar Rao house, specifically number 20, Aaratrika. It’s a quiet enough street for Bangalore, but we’re still close to the main roads which helps us get out to our project sites. We’ve been working on infrastructure and various projects from this location for a while. The office is pretty basic. We have our computers and a lot of rolls of blueprints sitting in the corners. It’s where the planning happens before we head out into the field. Bangalore traffic is famous for a reason, so we spend a lot of time planning our routes so we don't get stuck all day. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporate firm with a lobby and a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We talk to contractors and workers all day long, so we don't have much patience for fancy language. We just say things as they are. If a project is behind, we say so and try to fix it. If the materials are late, we call the supplier. It’s a lot of coordination and trying to stay on top of a hundred small details. We like the neighborhood here, it’s a good place to base our operations and get things done.
