Institute Of Technology.

Our place is the Institute of Technology, located right within the Guru Ghasidas University campus. If you have been to the university, you probably know how big the grounds are. We are just one part of that large space. The building we are in is where all the engineering work happens. It is full of labs that have various machines and computers, though some of the equipment has been around for a while. You will usually see students carrying around their drawing boards or heavy bags full of books. The hallways are often a bit messy with flyers and notices stuck to the walls. We have our own routine that follows the university calendar. Sometimes the walk from the main gate to our building feels quite long, especially when it is hot outside. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and sometimes oil from the workshops. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just the standard desks and chairs that have been used by many batches of students. The faculty members have their small offices tucked away in the corners. It is a place where people are usually busy with their calculations or trying to get a project finished before a deadline. We do not spend much time on decorations; we just make sure the classrooms are open and the labs are ready for whoever needs to use them that day. It is a bit noisy when the machines are running, but that is just how it goes.
