Impulse Book Arcade

Impulse Book Arcade is over on Raipur Road, specifically in Rama Valley. If you know the area, it’s not hard to spot. We have stacks of books everywhere and honestly, it’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend half our day just putting things back on shelves. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city, which is nice when you’re trying to read or sort through new stock. We get people coming in looking for all sorts of things, and usually, we have to go digging in the back to find it. The building in Rama Valley is okay, it stays cool enough in the summer months. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front. It’s just a book shop where we hang out and help people find what they need. Sometimes we get shipments that take all day to unpack and we’re just surrounded by cardboard boxes. It’s not a high-tech operation or anything like that. Just us, the books, and the regular customers who stop by. We’ve got chairs that have seen better days but they’re comfortable for a quick sit. The road outside can get quite dusty when the wind picks up. We mostly just drink tea and talk about what’s come in recently. It’s a simple way to spend the day, really. Nothing too complicated goes on here, just the usual business of running a shop and keeping the shelves full of interesting things.
