Goverment Engineering College, Raipur

Our place is located right behind the Nagar Palika in Pendra, which is part of the Bilaspur district. Being an engineering college, there is always a lot of activity with students walking around and faculty heading to classes. The campus is a bit away from the main city noise of Raipur, which makes it a bit quieter for studying. The buildings are standard brick and concrete, nothing too flashy, just functional spaces for learning. We spend a lot of time in the offices and labs. Dust can be a problem during the dry season because the roads around Pendra aren't all paved yet. You can see the college gates from the main road if you look closely behind the municipal building. Most of the staff stays nearby or commutes from other parts of the district. We have a routine that follows the academic calendar, so things get really busy during exam times and quieter in the summer. The halls are usually filled with the sound of lectures or people discussing technical drawings. It is a practical environment where the focus is on getting through the syllabus and managing the day-to-day needs of the students. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just people doing their jobs in the administrative block. The tea stall across the road is where most of us end up during the afternoon break to talk about the day.
