Bahatrai Road is where you can find us, right near Atal Awash in Bilaspur. The office is actually at Ms. Prabha Devi Sah’s place. It’s an OPC, so it’s a small operation run by just one person with a bit of help. We spend most of the day dealing with local construction stuff and the piles of paperwork that come with it. It gets pretty hot here in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside if we leave the door open too long to catch a breeze. We have a few chairs and a simple desk. It isn't anything fancy but it works for what we need to do. Most people know the area because of the housing colony nearby. We have been here for a while now and just try to get the work done one day at a time. Bilaspur is growing fast and there are always new buildings going up everywhere you look. We mostly focus on our local neighborhood. It's a lot of walking back and forth to different sites to check on things. We know the neighbors pretty well. Life is slow but steady. We keep our files organized on a metal shelf in the corner. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when the weather turns bad, but that is just part of it. We keep a water cooler for anyone who stops by. We are usually here from morning until evening. It is just simple people working on projects.
