Bharat Aluminum Company (Balco)

We've been here in Korba at Balco Colony for a long time. Our office is at House No 19 in Sector 1. It’s a busy place with lots of people coming in and out every day. We handle aluminum work here. It’s hot in Chhattisgarh, but we keep things moving. Most of us live right here in the colony, so the commute is just a short walk or a quick ride. People know us for what we do with metal. We don’t have fancy signs or anything. It's just a regular workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets dusty, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We deal with the day-to-day operations and make sure the aluminum is handled right. The mail comes to Sector 1, Type V. We’ve seen this area change quite a bit over the years. New buildings go up, but our spot stays pretty much the same. If you’re looking for us, just ask anyone near the main gate. They usually know where the Type V houses are located. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the work that needs doing. It’s a lot of coordination and keeping track of materials. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. That's really all there is to it. We're just part of the local community here in Korba, working and living in the same spot.
