Agrawal Rice Mill

Out in Village- Painda, within the Kartala Tehsil, is where you’ll find Agrawal Rice Mill. We are located very close to the Lanco Power Plant, so you can see their big towers from our yard. It’s an interesting contrast between our traditional rice milling and that massive modern plant nearby. The village is usually peaceful, but the power plant brings a lot of people and vehicles through the area. We have been working out of this spot for years, processing the local harvest as it comes in. The Kartala region is known for its agriculture, and we are right in the heart of it. During the peak season, we are working late into the night, and the lights of the power plant are always visible on the horizon. The mill has a high tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains, but we like it that way. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from word of mouth in the village and the surrounding areas. The office is just a wooden shack with a table and a couple of benches for visitors to sit on while they wait. We usually have some cold water or tea ready for anyone who stops by. It’s just how things are done here in Painda. We keep the machines running and the grain moving from morning until night.
