Our radio station, 94.3 My Fm, is run by Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd, and our local office here is actually in the SECL Colony in Bilaspur. The address is Q.No: B-84, and it’s where Mr. Narayan Singh’s family is connected. Working out of a colony like Indira Vihar gives the place a much more community-focused feeling than a regular commercial district. Since we are a radio station, there’s always music or someone talking in the background. It’s not your typical quiet office environment. We have shifts that run at all hours, so the building never really feels empty. The furniture is a bit worn out, and there are wires running along the floors in some rooms, but it’s a functional space where the magic of radio happens. We don’t have a marketing team writing these words to make us sound like some giant corporation. We’re just local people who like music and talking to the city. Sometimes the equipment gets a bit finicky, or we have to scramble to fix a technical issue before a show goes live, but that’s just part of the job. Most of the time, we’re just sitting around, planning the next set of songs or figuring out which local events to talk about. It’s a bit messy and a bit loud, but it’s a real place with real people working hard to keep the station on the air. That is all we do here.
