Shree Siddi Vinayak Forging (P) Ltd

Up in the hills of Himachal Pradesh, specifically in Village Bhulan near the Naina Devi temple, is where we do our forging. It is a beautiful part of the country, but the work we do is quite loud and heavy. Bilaspur district has its own rhythm, and being near a pilgrimage site like Shree Naina Devi Ji means there are always people around. Our forge is a place of heat and metal. You can hear the hammers and the machines from a good distance away. We make various forged parts, and it is a sweaty job even when it is cold outside. The air in the mountains is crisp, but inside the shed, it is all about the fire and the iron. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. Our walls are made of tin and stone, and they have seen a lot of work over the years. Most of us live nearby in the village or the next town over. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to brag about it. It is just about getting the shape of the metal right. Sometimes the mountain roads make it tricky to get our products out to the main highway, especially in the winter or during the rains. But we are used to it by now. It is a steady life up here, and we just keep the fires going and the hammers moving every day.
