Deepika Trading Company

Deepika Trading Company is based at Shop No. 14 in JNV Colony. If you know the Jaisalmer area, we are tucked away right behind the Roadways Bus Stand. It is a noisy spot with all the buses coming and going, but it makes it easy for people traveling to find us. We've been operating out of this small shop for quite a while. Trading is what we do, mostly basic stuff that people in the colony or travelers need. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the inventory. The desert heat in Jaisalmer can be a lot in the summer, so the afternoons are usually quiet before things pick up again in the evening. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space with shelves and some storage. Being behind the bus stand means we get all sorts of people walking in. Some are just looking for directions, others are looking for specific supplies. We just handle the business one day at a time. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most of our regulars are just neighbors from JNV Colony who have been coming here for years. It is a simple life running a trading business. We make sure the stock is there and the shop is open when people expect it to be. It keeps us on our toes and we like the work.
