Shri Ram Modern Rice Mill

Our mill is located in Barkagaon Ed, which is a village in the Piru Tehsil of Bhojpur district. We are not too far from the Piru Bazar, so we get a lot of people coming through this way. Even though we have "Modern" in our name, it just means we use some machines to help with the heavy work, but it’s still very much a traditional setup. The mill is a big part of the local area, especially for the farmers around here who need their rice processed. It’s a lot of work during the peak seasons, and we often work long hours to keep up with the demand. The yard is usually full of tractors and carts waiting their turn. It’s a dusty and noisy environment, but that’s just how a rice mill is. We’ve been at this location for a long time, and the building is familiar to everyone in the village. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll likely find us out by the machines or checking the bags. We take things as they come and try to keep everything running as smooth as possible. It’s a hard life sometimes, especially in the heat, but it’s what we know. Being near the bazaar is handy for getting supplies and seeing friends. We just focus on the task at hand and getting the milling done.
