Karuna Hospital

You can find Karuna Hospital right on the Ara Road in Bikramganj, near Patna. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside our front doors. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, and the hospital has become a bit of a landmark for people traveling between towns. The building is fairly large, with different sections for different types of care. It’s not some fancy private clinic with marble floors; it’s a working hospital for real people. We have a lot of patients coming in from the rural areas around Bikramganj because we are easy to get to from the main road. The staff is quite a mix of people, some have been here since the start and others are younger folks just learning the ropes. We stay busy throughout the week, and sometimes the weekends are even more packed. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with, and the doctors are usually rushing from one room to another. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this size, there’s always something happening. We don’t bother with big slogans or anything like that. We just provide a place for people to get medical help when they need it most. It’s a practical, straightforward operation and we take pride in just being available for the folks around Patna and Bikramganj every single day, no matter how many people are waiting.
