Wooltex-Lab

Wooltex-Lab is situated in Kamal Niketan on Stadium Road. Being near the stadium means it gets really crowded whenever there is a big match or an event, but usually, it’s a pretty decent place to work. Our lab is on the simpler side. We have our benches and our tools all laid out where we can reach them easily. It’s not one of those sterile, white-walled places you see in movies. It’s a working lab with stains on the floor and lots of equipment that we’ve used for years. We do a lot of testing and checking here. It requires a lot of focus, so we usually keep the radio off and just work in silence for hours. Kamal Niketan is an older building, so the plumbing can be a bit temperamental, and the stairs are steep for anyone not used to them. We don't mind it much. Most of our clients have been coming to us for a long time, so they know the way up. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or things like that. We figure if the work is done right, that's what really matters. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is probably the most used thing in the office besides the testing gear. It’s just a plain, honest place where we come every morning to do our bit and then go home at night.
