Shree Commodity & Derivatives

Our office, Shree Commodity & Derivatives, is inside Chugh Mansion, right across from the D. R. M. Office. It is an old building with a lot of character, though the elevator is a bit slow sometimes. We spend our time looking at market numbers and talking to people about commodity prices. It is a lot of sitting and typing, which can be tiring in its own way. The room is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people talking at the same time. We have a few windows that look out onto the main road, so we see all the traffic jams. It is a good spot because everyone knows the D. R. M. office, so we are easy to find. The stairs in Chugh Mansion are made of stone and they are worn down in the middle from all the feet walking on them for decades. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or anything, so we take turns tidying up the kitchen area and watering the two plants we have. Sometimes the plants look a bit sad, but we try our best to keep them alive. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the shift. Most of us have been here for years, so we are more like friends than coworkers. We share snacks and complain about the weather when it gets too humid. It is just a normal office.
