Designer Bean Bags

Our place is right by the Water Tank Park in the Pawanpuri South Extension area. If you look for 7-B-36, that’s where Designer Bean Bags is set up. It’s a nice enough spot, especially when the park is green in the summer. Inside the building, there's usually fabric scraps and filling beads all over the floor, no matter how much we sweep up. We spend the day cutting patterns and stitching things together. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work for the most part. The machines make a steady humming sound that fills the room. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a workshop where everything happens in one open space. Sometimes people from the neighborhood walk by and peek in to see what colors we’re working with today. We have a couple of finished bags sitting in the corner for people to try out, but mostly it's just a work zone. The light is pretty good in the mornings. We go through a lot of thread and zippers every single week. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment of foam arrives, but we manage to move things around. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. We don't put on any acts. It’s a simple business near the park, and we like it that way. Most days end with us clearing off the cutting tables.
