Mittal Hospital & Reasearch Center

Mittal Hospital & Research Center is located on Hospital Road. It’s a name that fits the street perfectly. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The building is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We have different sections for different needs, and the research side of things usually happens in the back rooms where it’s a bit quieter. It’s not a shiny new glass building. It’s made of solid brick and has seen a lot of years. The windows are large but we keep the curtains drawn to keep the heat out. Our staff usually eats lunch together in a small breakroom upstairs. You’ll see people waiting in the corridors throughout the day. We don't use those fancy digital calling systems, so the assistants just call out names when it's your turn. It’s a bit old school like that. The furniture in the waiting area is sturdy but definitely shows some wear and tear. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but the desks are always piled high with files. Life here is mostly about helping whoever walks through the door. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as it functions correctly. It’s a local spot where people feel comfortable enough to just walk in and ask questions. That’s just the way it has always been on Hospital Road. The pharmacy is right next door too.
